Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for an Assembly Technician at their Richardson TX facility. As a communications systems provider for the US Air Force and Navy, they operate in a fast-paced, controlled-chaos environment; this is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are proactive and can thrive under dynamic conditions.
Background in mechanical and electronic assembly required (Aviation Mechanics are ideal.)
Compensation: $26.00-29.00/hour
(+ OT)
Fixed Shift:
M-F, 7:00am-3:30pm
COMPANY PROVIDES: All consumable PPE (safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, etc) via industrial vending machines and lockers. A pair of noise-isolating wireless earbuds. 100% subsidized protective toe shoes/boots. 100% subsidized prescription safety glasses for prescription vision employees. What You Will Do:
Mechanical assembly with some light electronic and wiring integration. Support the build of rack systems, metal mechanical structures, and circuit card integration. (Not a wire harness or heavy pneumatic environment.) Will interpret technical documents and work packets; start with bench work and eventually graduate to more complex assembly projects involving full rack integration. Education and Work Experience:
Must have at least
4 years of US Military experience
(Aviation Mechanics ideal) Provide own set of tools:
Screw drivers and Allen drivers, metric and standard wrenches, metric and standard sockets and ratchets (1/4 and 3/8 drive), tape measure, ruler, linear scale, pliers, side cutters, tweezers, dead blow hammer, storage for tools. Background in
mechanical and electronic assembly required
(must have 2-5 years
hands-on assembly experience
