Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours (must be specified on submission)

• 13-week assignment length

• Weekend hours as required by facility

• No call requirements

• Float on a rotational basis

• Patient ratios: Days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:8 (estimates)

• Work on 31-bed Cardiac Med unit

• Care for cardiac/medical-surgical patients

• Utilize nursing process for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

• Perform drug titration and coordinate patient care with ancillary departments

• Required: Current RN license eligible for Missouri, BLS from AHA, NIHSS certification

• Preferred: ACLS from AHA

• Minimum 1 year cardiac telemetry inpatient experience required

• Equipment: Alaris pumps, telemetry, lift equipment

• Electronic Medical Record: EPIC

• Dress code: Black scrubs required, no torn clothes or open-toed shoes

• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs

• High risk exposure to blood and body fluids

• Auto-offer position available
