This is an impactful role for a physician/scientist with extensive experience in cardiovascular conditions, while expertise in renal diseases will be highly regarded. As the Senior Director, you will be the driving force behind the design and execution of clinical development strategies and trials, primarily focused on heart failure, atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD), hypertension, pulmonary hypertension, and chronic kidney disease (CKD). You will collaborate closely with preclinical teams and spearhead clinical trials while ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Engaging with regulatory bodies, external medical experts, and representing the company in scientific forums will also be key components of this role. Successful candidates will hold a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy degree, be board-eligible or certified in a relevant specialty/subspecialty, and possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in clinical research and drug development. Ideal qualifications include a solid business acumen and clinical practice experience, particularly in cardiovascular or renal medicine.
