Din Development Corporation (DDC) is seeking a

Proposal Manager

to lead our proposal development efforts while actively contributing to high-priority bids. Supporting our family of 10 subsidiaries in the federal contracting space, this role combines

hands-on proposal management

with

leadership, coaching, and team development . The Proposal Manager will guide the team through the full proposal lifecycle, step in directly on complex or strategic submissions, and mentor junior staff to build a scalable, high-performing proposal function. We are looking for someone who thrives in both roles: setting direction and expectations as a manager while rolling up their sleeves to deliver winning proposals. Responsibilities

Proposal Leadership & Execution: Manage the full lifecycle of federal proposals (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and Direct Awards), ensuring compliant, compelling, and timely submissions. Serve as lead writer/reviewer for key sections such as management plans, staffing approaches, and past performance. Build and maintain compliance matrices, outlines, and proposal trackers to keep efforts on schedule. Team Management & Coaching: Supervise and mentor proposal staff, providing daily guidance, constructive feedback, and growth opportunities. Act as a playercoachactively contributing to proposals while developing junior team members through shadowing, red team reviews, and lessons learned. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Capture, BD, Recruiting, Pricing, and Technical SMEs to align on win strategies, key messaging, and solutioning. Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure smooth proposal delivery. Process Improvement & Scalability: Enhance proposal processes, templates, and tools to improve efficiency and consistency. Promote best practices, share lessons learned, and drive the adoption of standards across the proposal team. Operational Excellence: Report on proposal pipeline status, team performance, and metrics to leadership. Ensure every submission reflects DDCs high-performance culture and commitment to quality. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship. 8+ years of federal proposal management experience, with at least 23 years in a supervisory or team lead role. Demonstrated ability to both lead proposals directly and coach/mentor team members. Strong knowledge of federal procurement and acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS). Excellent writing, editing, and compliance management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and proposal automation tools. Shipley, APMP, or equivalent certification preferred. Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, English, or related field preferred. What We Value
