We're looking for experienced, dependable, and safety-oriented Journeyman Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our growing team.
Job Responsibilities:
Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment (ductwork, hoods, chutes, tanks, etc.)
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Use hand tools, power tools, shears, brakes, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal
Ensure work is performed according to company and OSHA safety standards
Conduct inspections and perform preventive maintenance as required
Collaborate with other trades and project managers on job sites
Follow layout and work orders and complete tasks with minimal supervision
Requirements:
Valid Journeyman Sheet Metal certification or equivalent experience
4+ years of industrial sheet metal experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
Proficient in layout, cutting, forming, welding, and installation of sheet metal
Experience working with stainless steel, aluminum, and galvanized materials
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and operate aerial lifts as needed
Strong understanding of safety procedures and PPE use
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must pass a drug screening and background check
Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA 10 or 30 certification
Welding certifications (TIG/MIG/Stick)
Experience in shutdowns, turnarounds, or heavy industrial projects
