Apartment Maintenance Technician - River's Gate / Carrollwood
WPM Real Estate Management is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at River's Gate/Carrollwood in Middle River, MD. This role is essential to maintaining the community's quality, ensuring the property's upkeep, and delivering excellent service to our residents. Position Overview As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for completing maintenance work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new residents. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to outstanding customer service. Previous residential maintenance experience and an active HVAC certification is preferred. Compensation: Starting at $23.00 per hour (commensurate with experience), plus bonus and allowance opportunities Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM, with participation in an on-call rotation Key Responsibilities Perform electrical system repairs and maintenance Hang, prep, and sand drywall Repair and maintain appliances Complete plumbing repairs Paint apartments and common areas as needed Maintain property cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal Assist with snow removal and seasonal tasks Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies Qualifications & Requirements Experience with plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical issues Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 85 lbs Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Availability for on-call emergencies, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required HVAC certification a plus 35 years of maintenance experience preferred Why Join Us?
