Talent4Health is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Austin, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/27/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Skills: • Broad knowledge of ultrasound physics and procedures; understanding of ultrasound principles that are developmentally appropriate for ages 0 – adulthood. • Operation of all required equipment including troubleshooting when necessary of the equipment, including automated processors, copying/digitizing film equipment, R.I.S., and PACS. • Basic life support and medical terminology understanding is required. • Ssuccessful demonstration of the professional fundamental competencies. • Additional requirements: 1) Must be articulate, courteous and supportive in dealing with patients, parents, nursing, faculty, administrative and departmental personnel so that excellent customer service and positive guest relations are achieved. 2) must honor confidentiality 3) must independently scan patients by following the established protocols 4) must demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills 5) must utilize basic office equipment; such as fax 6) Preferable if able to demonstrate bilingual skills. Education : Required- Graduate of a formal diagnostic Radiology program Required- BLS American Heart Association Required - RVT - Cert-Registered Vascular TECH American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Required within 18 months of entry into the role Must also have one of these certifications: RDMS-AB - RDMS in Abdomen American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR RDMS-OB - Reg Diag Med Sonographer OBGYN American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR RDMS-PS - RDMS in Pedi Sonography American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR S-ARRT - ARRT RegTech Sonography American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
