We are seeking an experienced
NetSuite Finance Functional Consultant
with 5+ years of expertise in implementing and optimizing NetSuite ERP solutions, with a specific focus on financial processes and module's. This role is integral to delivering high-impact NetSuite solutions thats align with clients financial strategies and operational goals. As a NetSuite Finance Functional Consultant, you will collaborate with clients to understand their financial workflows, design tailored solutions, and ensure the successful implementation and adoption of NetSuite Financials. This is a hands-on role requiring a deep understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and NetSuite ERP capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Financial Process Analysis & Solution Design Engage with clients to assess and document financial processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets. Design and configure NetSuite Financial modules to address business challenges and improve financial performance. Develop functional specifications for customizations and integrations with third-party financial applications such as tax compliance tools, expense management software, and banking systems. NetSuite ERP Implementation Lead the functional implementation of NetSuite Financials, from requirements gathering to Go live. Configure and optimize financial modules, including Advanced Revenue Management, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Multi-Entity Consolidation. Support end-to-end testing, including functional testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Oversee data migration and validation processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data during transitions. Post-Implementation Support Provide post-go-live support to resolve issues, optimize configurations, and enhance system usability. Train end-users and stakeholders to ensure the adoption and effective use of NetSuite Financials. Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to meet evolving business needs. Client Engagement & Advisory Act as a trusted advisor to finance teams, providing guidance on NetSuite capabilities, best practices, and financial compliance. Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance financial reporting, close cycles, and cash flow management. Reporting & Analytics Design and configure financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs using NetSuite Analytics tools. Enable clients to gain actionable insights into financial performance, profitability, and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications: Education:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting NetSuite ERP solutions, with a focus on financial modules. Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including General Ledger, AR/AP, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition, and Multi-Entity Management. Proven track record of successful NetSuite implementations across various industries.
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of NetSuite Financials, including Advanced Financials and SuiteGL. Experience with workflow automation, custom fields, and saved searches within NetSuite. Familiarity with integration tools and APIs for connecting NetSuite with third-party financial applications (e.g., Avalara, Expensify, BlackLine). Proficiency in data migration and transformation during ERP implementation projects.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and cross-functional teams. Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering client-centric solutions. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications: CPA, CMA, or equivalent accounting certification. Familiarity with GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance. Experience in financial reporting and analytics using tools like NetSuite Analytics Warehouse. Knowledge of global financial operations, including multi-currency and multi-entity consolidation.
