Job Summary The Healthcare Construction Project Leader is an experienced and dedicated member of our dynamic team at Insidesource. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects using innovative modular wall construction methods. You will be responsible for developing and managing project budgets, creating detailed schedules, and overseeing resource allocations to ensure projects are executed effectively. Conducting regular site inspections, reviewing construction plans, and implementing proactive risk management measures are key aspects of this role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects from initiation to closeout. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project objectives, scope, and deliverables that align with client requirements. Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery. Engage with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to monitor installation progress and ensure compliance with specifications. Manage procurement processes, including bid evaluations and contract negotiations. Oversee project budgeting and cost control, managing change orders in alignment with budgetary constraints. Conduct regular site inspections to assess project progress and compliance with safety protocols. Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholders, providing timely project updates. Create comprehensive project plans, outlining timelines, resource allocations, and procurement strategies. Evaluate and select contractors and subcontractors based on qualifications and cost-effectiveness. Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report status to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, prioritizing a safe working environment. Maintain extensive project documentation, including contracts, compliance details, and drawings. Conduct meetings to address challenges and maintain alignment with project objectives. Provide regular updates on milestones, budget changes, and significant developments or risks. Promote safety and compliance with local building codes and regulations. Evaluate project performance to identify improvement areas and implement corrective measures. Guide and mentor the project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Supervisory Responsibilities None Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required REQUIRED 7+ years of experience in construction project management with a successful track record of on-time, on-budget project deliveries. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations. Excellent project management skills with a focus on planning, organizing, and prioritization. Proficient in interpreting technical documents, including blueprints and schematics. Strong leadership and communication abilities to effectively guide project teams and manage stakeholders. Experience with budgeting, project scheduling tools, and cost estimation software. Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and green building certifications. A valid driver's license is required; must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. PREFERRED Professional certification in project management or construction management (e.g., PMP or LEED). Knowledge of risk management and budget management principles. Experience managing medium to large-scale construction projects. Familiarity with local regulations and approval processes; OSHPD/HCAI experience is a plus. Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Bluebeam software. Experience in construction contract negotiations. Strong financial acumen with experience in project budgeting and cost control.
