As a Program Control Analyst, Staff, you will join our Operations team and support day-to-day production and maintenance operations with a focus on, but not limited to, the following: Actively drive project/order review efforts Support coordination and maintenance of production schedule Coordination and maintenance of production work order(s) Coordination and monitoring of subcontracted services for production Coordination and monitoring of material flow to production Client interfacing communication (non-technical) Administrative deliverables for active projects Support client financial transaction operations Support coordination and monitoring of working assets Development of project management skills including project cost management, schedule management, and scope management Develop a working knowledge and execution of project risk management Coordinate with Operations leadership to manage multiple-site coordinated projects Coordination with multiple Fleet Solutions locations to ensure integrity to process and execution Collaboration with other Fleet Solutions locations to manage customer expectations and deliver projects on schedule All other duties as assigned Under general supervision and on their own initiative, the Program Analyst (Staff) is the career progression in the Fleet Solutions PMO, developing skills and behaviors to manage Fleet Solutions projects. Leveraging the skills mastered as the Program Analyst, this Staff level analyst will drive program efficiencies while developing as a Project Manager. The candidate/employee will work both in a team environment supporting Operations management and independently to manage critical projects and customers to provide scope of work clarity and remove potential obstacles to execute orders. This role requires strong administrative and organizational skills, a thorough knowledge of operational best practices to support performance and key performance indicator goals and initiatives, and the ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with internal and external company stakeholders. In this role the candidate/employee may participate in other projects focused on responsibilities not listed above under the supervision of leadership representatives not their direct supervisor. Location: Chesapeake, VA / Chula Vista, CA Salary Range: $72,700 to $85,000 Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in California. Your Challenge Ability to effectively communicate with external project/order stakeholders Demonstrated desire and ability to learn and execute project management fundamental principles Understanding of project deliverables and a pro-active approach to exceeding customer expectations Coordinate and monitor administrative deliverable(s) for project milestones Coordinate and monitor material requirements for production efforts Coordinate and monitor subcontracting services to meet rigorous project demands Create and monitor work order packages Monitor and maintain operational schedule Maintain production area project indicators Provide insight to potential resource constraints Act as the liaison between production/maintenance team and other departments within business unit Ability to help coordinate and support cross-functional resource operations What You Bring Must be a US Citizen and capable to obtain and maintain a security clearance Experience in production and/or MRO operations Working knowledge of operational processes, both fixed and dynamic Understanding of operational traceability requirements for compliance and performance purposes Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multi-task coordination skills Ability to understand and execute work under emergent and strict scheduling deadlines. Knowledge of MS office tools/programs Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and interrelationships of modules 5+ years of related work experience in similar roles such as production/program planning, coordination, and/or control Preferred: Experience managing projects and understanding project risk management Experience in Ship Repair and/or Technical Service Industry Experience in project-based production environments Experience using Oracle ERP system. Associate's degree, or higher, in Business Administration, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Operational Management, or equivalent Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal degree Who We Are Curtiss-Wright Fleet Solutions is comprised of three service centers that focus on the US Navy fleet support and maintenance market.
