Local Program Coordinator

Local Program Coordinator District Four / Transportation Development / Program Management / Local Agency Programs This position will coordinate with the District Legal office, District Local Program Administrator, Department Project Managers, various other Department personnel and local governments to prepare and execute all local program agreements and supplemental agreements ensuring that agreements language, funding, and Scope of Services language is clear and concise. Through cooperation, coordination and collaboration among the OneFDOT team, you will be contributing to a strong and empowering culture of TRREC: Trust, Relationships, Respect, Empowerment, and Communication. Through our agency's learning management system, you have access to hundreds of computer-based training and instructor-led courses. The successful candidate will have the following required knowledge, skills, and abilities: Knowledge of applicable state and federal procedures, rules, guidelines and statutes Project and contract management techniques and method Production processes Scope of services Projecting of projects Financial Management Systems Skilled in contractual interpretation, planning, organizing, and interacting with federal, state and local personnel, consultants, and the public in a professional and positive manner Use of personal computer and business software products Ability to draft contract language, manage multiple priorities in order to achieve planned goals, learn and quickly adapt to changing conditions, analyze data and draw logical conclusions, communicate effectively both verbally, in writing, and through active listening at all organizational levels, establish and maintain effective working relationships, and effectively handle potentially problematic situations Minimum qualifications: Six years of experience in engineering, contract administration or development, finance, economics, public administration, urban planning, policy analysis, financial modeling, accounting, statistics, transportation financial analysis or work program development. A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for four years of the required experience. Post-graduate education from an accredited college or university may be substituted for employment experience on a year-per-year basis.
