Job Summary

Universal Cable Holdings, Inc. seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to design and develop enterprise data visualizations and drive Business Intelligence (BI) strategy. Responsibilities

Connect and map complex datasets to enterprise needs, delivering data exploration and visualization experiences. Perform data modeling, business process analysis, and development of reporting functional and technical specifications. Collaborate with enterprise architecture, data governance, and data mining leads to ensure solutions abide by best practice principles. Collaborate with software architects on design and schema object development. Monitor user administration and security. Manage product installation, documentation, testing, and postinstallation approval. Qualifications

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with driving end-to-end development life cycles for BI software programs, including MicroStrategy. Experience must include at minimum: 5 years of experience with relational database management systems, including Oracle, and SQL Server; 5 years of experience with database architecture, including star and snowflake schema; 5 years of experience with diagramming and constructing MicroStrategy schema, including attributes, facts, and hierarchies; 5 years of experience with using SQL to optimize, analyze, and improve MicroStrategy reports; and 5 years of experience with creating multi-panel dashboards, documents, and visual intelligence tools.
