$2520 - $2700 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) Interventional Radiology experience highly preferred Electrophysiology experience (1+ years) highly preferred Cardiac rhythm interpretation skills highly preferred Knowledge of intraaortic balloon pump operation highly preferred Travel nursing experience highly preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Must provide work history, skills checklist (current to 1 year), and two supervisory references (within last two years) Permanent address must be outside a 50-mile radius of Midland, MI Cath Lab RN Responsibilities
Deliver nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, angiography, and other cardiovascular procedures Conduct cardiac diagnostic procedures: stress echocardiogram, treadmill exams, nuclear and pharmacologic stress testing, tilt table, echocardiograms, cardioversions, and transesophageal echocardiograms Assist with preparation, procedure, and recovery for interventional radiology procedures Screen patients for safety and provide sedation monitoring per hospital policy Apply Holter, event, and ambulatory blood pressure monitors; perform pacemaker interrogations Insert PICC lines and serve as a vascular access expert Operate and manage cardiac equipment and supplies (cardiac output monitors, hemodynamic monitors, pacemakers/ICDs, intraaortic balloon pump, crash cart, IV pumps, defibrillators, glucometer, stress machines) Scrub in for procedures with physicians Document all pertinent information and contribute to cardiovascular education materials and programs
