Job Description Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 09:00-21:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a nurse with at least 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting. License: Current Registered Nurse license Certifications: ACLS before starting date BLS before starting date PALS before starting date TNCC before starting date CPI before starting date NIHSS before starting date ENPC within 90 days of hire
Must-Have: 2 years of experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department. Teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and give feedback in real-time.

We operate a busy emergency department with a high volume of patient visits. Our team is known for their collaboration and welcoming attitude. We serve a diverse community with multiple languages spoken. Advanced skills are required as various procedures are performed in the department. Documentation is completed using the Cerner system. The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 4:1, with up to 7:1 for behavioral holds. Technicians and unit clerks support nursing staff during shifts. Candidates should be open to floating within various sections of the emergency department. We provide a supportive environment dedicated to professional growth and development.
