Overview
Armorock Polymer Concrete is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EHS Coordinator to lead environmental compliance and workplace safety efforts at our Boulder City, Nevada manufacturing facility. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting employee well-being, and fostering a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable conducting safety training on the floor and managing air permit data behind the scenes. Base pay range

Responsibilities
Environmental Compliance: Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including air permits, hazardous waste, SPCC, stormwater, and EPCRA Tier II/TRI reporting. Maintain and update site-specific environmental permits, reports, and recordkeeping systems. Coordinate environmental audits, inspections, and sampling, and serve as the point of contact for regulators. Monitor VOC emissions, track raw material usage, and support corporate environmental reporting. Implement and maintain site environmental policies and procedures in alignment with corporate standards. Health & Safety: Lead safety initiatives including training, toolbox talks, JHAs, incident investigations, and root cause analyses. Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, enforce PPE requirements, and verify compliance with OSHA standards. Track and report safety performance metrics (e.g., near misses, first aid, corrective actions). Facilitate safety committee meetings and support employee engagement in continuous improvement. Support emergency preparedness planning, contractor safety protocols, and ergonomics evaluations. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in environmental science, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field, preferred. 2-4 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial setting, preferred. Familiarity with EPA, OSHA, and Nevada regulatory requirements. Comfortable working in both office and production floor environments. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and follow-through. Experience with EHS management systems or software a plus. Certifications such as OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, or CHMM are preferred.
