Data Governance Manager

Under the guidance of the Senior Data Governance Manager, drives enterprise data integrity, enabling high-quality, reliable data across the organization. Establishes enterprise-wide data quality standards, monitors and improves the health of critical data assets, and ensures that data quality practices enable strategic decision-making. Defines, implements, and optimizes data quality strategies, and partners with internal data stewards to monitor critical data assets. Drives remediation of complex data quality issues and advises leadership on risks and impacts to ensure a culture of data excellence across all business domains. What You Will Be Doing:

Leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise data quality frameworks, standards, controls, and metrics for monitoring Critical Data Elements. Develops and maintains data quality dashboards to identify and address data quality gaps and issues. Supports the management of the end-to-end data quality issue lifecycle, including triage, root cause analysis, remediation planning, and executive-level status reporting. Designs and governs data quality rules within Informatica Data Quality and other tools, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance objectives. Conducts and facilitates root cause analyses on cross-domain data quality issues, recommending enterprise-level remediation strategies. Drives remediation initiatives in collaboration with business units, technology teams, and data stewards to ensure timely and sustainable resolutions. Advises and partners with data stewards and governance counsels to enforce enterprise data quality standards and regulatory compliance. Participates in data quality working groups, contributing to designing standards, success metrics, agendas, tracking of remediation plans, and delivery of outcomes. Maintains and updates enterprise data policies, procedures, and playbooks, embedding best practices into operational processes. Defines and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess adherence to data quality standards and progress toward enterprise data goals. Performs other related duties as assigned. What You Need:

Five (5) plus years of experience in enterprise data management, with a focus on data quality. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or a related quantitative field. Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of scripting and analytical tools to establish and maintain data quality rules, including Informatica Data Quality. Snowflake, Informatica Data Quality, and Tableau is preferred, but similar tools considered. Knowledge of enterprise or cross-functional data quality programs, including oversight of Critical Data Elements across multiple business domains. Knowledge of data quality management, including issue tracking and reporting. Skill in data quality management, including issue identification, triage, root cause analysis, remediation planning, and KPI reporting. Skill in interpersonal communication and collaboration. Skill in analytics and knowledge of data quality issues and processes. Skill in written and verbal communication, including the ability to convey data quality concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to influence executive stakeholders and embed data quality best practices into enterprise processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to drive data quality initiatives. Special Requirements:

Must obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge (badge) in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements in Chapter 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1500 et al., and DFW Airport's Airport Security Program within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for a SIDA badge upon each badge renewal. Desired:

Master's Degree in a quantitative field or technical discipline such as Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science. Professional certification in data management, data quality, or data governance (e.g., CDMP, IQCP, DGSP). Experience participating in or leading data quality or data governance working groups, councils, or similar forums. Understanding of leading data governance frameworks and best practices (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK) and ability to operationalize them at scale. Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
