The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis position resides in the Finance department at CableLabs. This department manages the funds provided to CableLabs from our member operators to develop technologies that advance the cable industry. Our team plays a crucial role in providing oversight, insight, and thought leadership around those resources that enable the company's innovation efforts.

The position requires a candidate with a strong accounting foundation to lead financial strategy, planning, and forecasting across our multi-entity organization. This role is highly visible and will partner closely with senior leadership, department heads, and external stakeholders. The impact of your work will allow CableLabs to manage its financial resources in an appropriate manner and to invest those financial resources in areas that best support the company's objectives.
We are looking for someone that brings strong expertise in FP&A at scale, and the ability to drive cross-functional financial alignment, in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do: Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the full-cycle budgeting and forecasting process for a $100M+ revenue organization, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with strategic priorities. Financial Analysis: Provide in-depth analysis of business performance, key trends, and financial drivers to inform strategic decision-making. Board Presentations: Develop and deliver clear, actionable presentations for the Board of Directors and executive leadership team. Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with multiple departments and entities to align financial plans with operational objectives, ensuring consistency across the enterprise. Systems & Tools: Administer and optimize Adaptive Insights (or similar) to improve reporting, analytics, and team adoption. Lead training for business partners and staff. Ad Hoc Reporting: Prepare and deliver internal and external financial reports, including government compliance and stakeholder requests. Salesforce Integration: Support financial data integration and reporting from Salesforce to ensure accurate revenue tracking and forecasting. Audit & Controls: Leverage prior audit experience to support compliance, internal controls, and external audit coordination. Other duties as assigned Qualifications
What Is a Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in
Accounting or Finance
required. 10+ years
of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, or related roles. Experience leading financial planning for companies with
$500M+ in revenue . Proven expertise with
Adaptive Insights (or Hyperion, Tableau, Power BI)
including administration and training. Demonstrated ability to present to Boards and senior executives. Strong understanding of
multi-entity structures
and cross-departmental coordination. Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills. What Will Set You Apart:
CPA and/or MBA Experience with Salesforce Prior audit experience

The salary range is
$165,620 - $212,940 . This position is eligible for bonus incentive compensation up to
25% of base salary.
