Salary: $70-75k base salary + full comprehensive benefits + company vehicle and credit card
Job Summary: This is a full-time, on-site role for a Traveling Field Service Technician based in the midwestern region of the United States. This person is to become a technical subject matter expert for the company and all manufacturing solutions/equipment.
The Field Service Technician will also be expected to maintain service records, manage tools and equipment, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Job Responsibilities: Servicing, Troubleshooting and maintaining machines Training operators Installing machines and upgrades Commissioning for machines and upgrade Reporting on machinery and equipment
Qualifications:
Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with machinery installation, maintenance, and repair (mechanics) Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to read/understand Rockwell PLC programs preferred Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical- and pneumatic diagrams Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to schedule your travels and tasks within given time and flexibility regarding working hours High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred Willingness to travel internationally to client sites occasionally (2-4 visits / year - Mainly Austria, Mexico or Brazil) Fluency in both English and Spanish preferred Valid US passport
