Drive materials and logistics transformation within the Compression Systems Module Center (CSMC) organization. Develop strategies and execute goals with business units/departments to meet capacity, inventory controls, cost reduction, on-time delivery, and control tower measures. Work directly with CSMC administration, materials, operations and 3PL organizations, as well as internal manufacturing groups, to redefine processes, fulfill business requirements, and deliver to customer expectations. Execute materials transformation initiatives and drive a strategic materials management architecture, including releasing material, handling methods, kitting and material movement following line-back logistics fundamentals. Provide leadership and direction with emphasis on change management. Ensure CSMC transforms to meet customer demands in a manufacturing environment. Establish and execute standards and expectations for work effort and performance, and provide feedback on performance against those standards. Implement lean manufacturing measures to balance value streams and shop operations, identifying opportunities quickly. Qualifications You Must Have
A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years in engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management or closely related environment OR an Associate's degree and 7+ years in the same fields. In absence of a degree, High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 9 years in the same fields. Working knowledge of shop practices, processes and procedures. Experience using Microsoft Office.
