Pay Information $2,137 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 18 months Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience, with 18 months permanent experience prior to travel. License: Must have permanent license in hand or a compact state license. Certifications: BLS & ACLS required, NIHSS prior to start. Must-Have: One recent reference from a manager, assistant nursing manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. Description: All requirements listed in the job description are non-negotiable. This position requires night shifts of 3, 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Candidates must possess a minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. It is mandatory to have 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel. A permanent Ohio license or compact state license must be in hand prior to submission. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, along with NIHSS to be obtained prior to start. References must be from a supervisory role in the specialty applying for consideration. Candidates will be required to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation and must achieve acceptable scores on both. Travelers will receive two attempts to pass these assessments; failure to pass will result in cancellation. Background checks with any records will be reviewed, and no open cases will be accepted. Candidates must adhere to nicotine-free requirements as stipulated. Timely completion of required background checks and fingerprinting is essential prior to starting. Modules are to be completed before commencing work and will vary according to specialty.
