Requirements:
•
2+ years
of hands-on massage therapy experience •
1+ year
of customer service experience • Current
California massage therapy license

Responsibilities: • Offer general wellness maintenance advice to clients such as stretching and strengthening techniques • Maintain treatment records, monitor client progress, and follow up on their treatment plans • Evaluate each client’s physical condition, stress level, and medical history to determine the most effective types of massage for their course of treatment • Assemble products for the client’s skin and prep the massage table before they arrive • Support a positive working environment for both clients and staff through relationship building and team development • Provide high-quality massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs. • Deliver consistent, client-centered care in a supportive, non-rushed environment. • Maintain a clean, professional treatment space. • Communicate clearly and kindly with clients and staff. • Work collaboratively with a team of acupuncturists and massage therapists. • Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled shifts. • Accurately document session notes as needed. • Support the clinic’s reputation for excellence and care. Qualifications: • Must possess high-level interpersonal and communications skills • Over one year of work experience as a massage therapist • High school diploma or equivalent • Adequate knowledge of a variety of massage techniques such as reflexology, sports massage, Swedish massage, and deep-tissue massage • Licensure if required by state and local law • Licensed or certified massage therapist in the state of California (or appropriate certifying body). • At least 2 years of hands-on experience,
or
a minimum of 500 hours of training. • Proficient in
Swedish, deep tissue, and prenatal massage.
• Additional experience with
hot stone massage
is a plus. • Current
malpractice insurance
is required. • Strong communication and time management skills. • Reliable, organized, and professional demeanor. • Ability to make a
minimum one-year commitment.
• Self-motivated and open to growing within a stable practice. Compensation: $38 - $80 hourly
