Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions that meet business objectives and align with industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GCP services, cloud architecture, security, automation, and scalability. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and management of cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions into existing workflows. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues. Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions. Develop cloud-native and hybrid solutions ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and optimal performance. Implement security best practices including IAM, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2). Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager. Monitor cloud workloads, optimize resource usage, and recommend improvements for cost efficiency and performance. Lead cloud migration initiatives including rehosting, refactoring, and re-platforming legacy applications. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment. Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and design. Minimum 5 years of experience in solution development for cloud-native and hybrid environments. Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing security and compliance standards. Minimum 5 years of experience in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager. Minimum 3 years of experience in performance optimization of cloud workloads. Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud migration and modernization. Minimum 5 years of experience in CI/CD pipeline development and management. Strong expertise in GCP services, networking, and security. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and DevOps practices. Familiarity with cloud cost management and optimization strategies. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications
Google Cloud Certified Professional Architect or equivalent certification. Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments. Knowledge of big data, machine learning, and analytics on GCP. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash. Certifications
