Flex Pharmacist

Job Description Experience Required: 0 to 6 months Experience Desired: None Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy Certification or Licensing Required: Pharmacy; Immunization License; Valid CPR Certification; Preferred: Valid pharmacy license in multiple states Lifting Requirement: Up to 25 pounds Travel Required: Regional - Daily Age Requirement: At least 21 years of age Job Responsibilities Ensure safe and efficient dispensing of all patient orders in compliance with quality assurance policies and procedures. Model exemplary patient care by engaging with patients enthusiastically, addressing their needs, and providing effective counseling. Perform all pharmacist duties including interpreting, filling, and refilling prescriptions, while maintaining accurate patient profiles. Support the Team Leader in optimizing team performance through effective delegation and resource management. Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies to meet patient needs and maximize profitability. Maintain a clean and sterile work environment in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Participate in reviewing service metrics and assist in developing action plans for improvement. Complete all necessary documentation and remain knowledgeable about audit procedures. Support the execution of company programs and initiatives. Stay informed about new medications, therapies, and trends within the pharmacy industry. Advocate for positive change within the pharmacy profession to enhance patient care and improve company performance. Build strong professional relationships with external partners including physicians, nurses, and vendors. Assist in mentoring and training new Pharmacy team members. Foster a positive work environment that supports teamwork and collaboration. Provide constructive coaching and feedback to team members as needed. Adhere to all company policies, state, and federal laws and regulations. Administer immunizations and participate in clinical services to enhance both patient and company outcomes.
