The Leasing Agent is the first point of contact for prospective residents and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional impression of our community. This position is responsible for showcasing the property, guiding prospects through the leasing process, and ensuring a seamless move-in experience. The Leasing Agent also supports day-to-day operations of the property, fosters strong resident relations, and contributes to the overall success of the community. Responsibilities

Greet and engage prospective residents, assess needs and preferences, and present available apartments and community features in a professional and compelling manner. Conduct resident screenings in accordance with established guidelines and ensure applicants meet qualification standards. Prepare and execute lease agreements, addenda, and related paperwork; collect rents and deposits as required. Assist applicants with completing applications, verify information, and communicate approval or denial decisions. Maintain accurate and timely records of prospects and residents in the leasing software system. Conduct move-out inspections, monitor unit turnover, and ensure vacancies are prepared for market readiness. Support property management with administrative duties, including organizing reports, filing, and maintaining marketing materials. Walk the property regularly to ensure curb appeal, report maintenance issues, and help maintain a clean, safe, and attractive community. Inspect model units and available apartments daily to ensure they are clean and show-ready. Assist with new resident orientations and ensure a smooth transition into the community. Build positive relationships with residents by responding promptly to questions, concerns, and requests. Work collaboratively with the Property Manager and team to achieve leasing goals and maintain high resident satisfaction. Qualifications

0-1 year of experience in leasing residential experience preferred Self-starter who can take on responsibilities and initiate ideas Ability to provide a high level of service and relationship management with tenants Ability to manage multiple priorities at once, to shift directions multiple times throughout the day, creative problem solving, and a high sense of urgency are critical to success Benefits
