$132,000 - $335,940 a year

Description

The Hematology-Oncology Division at the University of Rochester is seeking M.D./Ph.D. or M.D. Assistant Professor applicants with experience in clinical research for faculty position in solid tumor oncology program. Our multidisciplinary programs include surgical, oncologic, radiation, imaging and pathology sub-specialists. The predominant criterion for appointment is a commitment to clinical excellence, research, and teaching. Mentoring fellows, residents and medical students and possessing creativity and strong interpersonal skills in order to work with a collaborative and diverse faculty will be essential. The Wilmot Cancer Institute is the major resource for comprehensive cancer care, research, education, and community outreach in upstate New York. Our facility provides fully integrated inpatient and outpatient clinical, clinical research and laboratory space for Cancer Medicine, a key component of the Medical Center Strategic Plan.

Qualifications

M.D. Degree or equivalent

Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date

Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry

Eligible for Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology

Experience in an outpatient setting is required

Must meet all credentialing requirements

Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required

Compliance with University and New York State health requirements

The referenced pay range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
