Overview
The Sr. Social Media Manager will be a key member of the digital marketing team, responsible for developing and overseeing social media strategy for a prominent beauty brand. The focus is on growing brand awareness through innovative tactics, data-driven insights, and creative approaches to build a loyal fan base. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with leadership to design and implement organic social and influencer marketing strategies for new product launches and ongoing campaigns. Manage paid partnerships and influencer campaigns from contracting to content delivery and internal distribution. Drive influencer-led paid social content strategy in partnership with paid social teams. Support influencer and brand events with organic social content activation. Use data, trends, and customer insights to shape social content marketing and community management strategies. Provide regular reporting on social media and influencer campaign performance with actionable recommendations. Develop best practices for organic social and influencer marketing programs. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure integrated campaign execution across paid, owned, and earned channels. Create detailed campaign briefs including goals, messaging, platforms, tone, and visuals. Stay current on social media platform updates, regulations, negotiation tactics, and emerging talent. Monitor campaign performance data to optimize results and inform future opportunities. Research and manage relationships with social tech vendors and agency partners. Lead and mentor the social media team to support professional growth. Qualifications
5 to 7 years of experience in social media, influencer relations, content creation, and paid media within consumer brands or agencies. Bachelors degree in Marketing, Digital Communications, Business Administration or related field. Expert knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices. Strong analytical skills with ability to use data for decision making. Proven ability to work cross-functionally and develop strategic plans. Experience with tools such as Tribe Dynamics, Dash Hudson, Grin, MeltWater is a plus. Leadership experience preferred.
