Active DoD Secret Clearance ( Required ) Centex Technologies is seeking a highly skilled
Data Engineer
to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-native solutions in support of defense and government projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, high-performance data systems meet mission-critical needs. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, Spark, Airflow. Manage and tune relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases. Build and maintain solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena), Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake), and GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage). Implement data warehousing and modeling practices (Kimball, Inmon methodologies). Ensure compliance with DoD 8140.03 requirements (Security or equivalent). Collaborate with platform engineers and visibility teams to manage AWS resources and source control (GitLab). Why Work With Us?

Required Qualifications: Active DoD Secret Clearance 4 years in data engineering, data science, or comparable role Strong experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL, and big data frameworks Cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP) Data warehousing and modeling expertise Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala CompTIA Security or DoD 8140.03-compliant certification Preferred:
