Description

Our client is searching for a

Human Resources Benefits Administrator.

Summary

The Human Resources Benefits Administrator will be responsible for daily oversight of the administration of all health and welfare benefits programs. This role will function as a subject-matter expert in company benefit plans and processes, and works to ensure that the programs are administered in accordance with all plan provisions, regulations, and policies

Responsibilities

Daily administration of health and welfare programs (health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, AD&D, retirement plans, voluntary benefits programs etc.) Aids in ensuring that programs are administered in compliance with established guidelines, processes, procedures and controls and all applicable laws and regulations. (ERISA, DOL, IRS, ACA, HIPPA, OSHA, ADA, FMLA, ESST, PFMLA etc.) Assists in the development of the overall benefits strategy and helps drive employee engagement. Recommends and implements approved, new, or modified plans and related employee benefits policies. Communicate, answer questions and address complaints related to company benefits. Coordinate and assist employees with benefit open enrollment and mid-year benefit changes. Initiate the development and distribute materials related to benefits programs/plans. Collaborate with Finance/Accounting/Payroll on any benefits configuration or system updates. Ensure that enrollment data is properly configured and tested for accuracy and compliance with plan requirements. Serves as primary audit contact for all benefit plans. Monitor current trends and legislative issues. Report and manage work injuries with workers compensation vendor.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field. 3 years of benefit administration or equivalent. Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred. Certified Benefit Professional (CBP)/Certified Employment Benefit Specialist (CEBS) desired. Knowledge of Human Resources business processes related to benefits and HRIS systems. Knowledge of current State and Federal benefit rules and regulations. Ability to manage a high level of confidentiality regarding employee information. Excellent planning, time management, decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in UKG. Customer service focused on an ability to listen, clarify, and solve problems. Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex issues and solutions.
