Our Richmond, VA office is looking for an entry-level Civil Engineer (Construction) with exposure to land development/site civil design.
What You'll Do:
As a Civil Engineer - Construction at Bohler, you will have the following responsibilities:
Provide construction related support to design teams, contractors, and clients
Work directly with and become POC for contractors
Coordinate communication between contractors and the design teams
Work with the Construction Admin and design teams to execute and assist in the following construction-related services: ◦ Review and respond to RFIs ◦ Shop Drawings and submittal review ◦ Site visits and observations ◦ Precon and course of construction meeting attendance ◦ Utility coordination ◦ Permit coordination ◦ Punch list
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards

What You'll Need:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and able to manage many projects at the same time

Takes initiative on tasks and in coordinating with other members of the design team
Ability to effectively discuss project issues with contractors and reviewing agencies
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred
