Parts Manager Exempt or Non-Exempt:
Exempt Full-Time or Part-Time:
Full Time Job Summary: Position with primary responsibility for outside parts sales and customer service. Essential Job Functions: Meet sales and gross profit margin goals Call on customers Prospect for new customers Resolve customer problems and maintain excellent customer service levels Provide estimates as needed Sell the entire dealership (service, trucks, body shop, etc.) Travel with vendor reps Order parts as per department procedures On going training (OEM parts training) Up sell In addition to the essential functions listed above, the employee is expected to exercise honesty, integrity and respect with all clients and co-workers, maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, demonstrate a positive attitude, communicate effectively with co-workers and clients, work with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail, respect the work environment and keep it as neat and clean as possible, and exercise initiative to learn new skills and tasks and to help co-workers when possible.
The employee is also expected to perform such other duties and functions as required from time to time. Qualifications: Drivers Licenses Must meet company standards for clean driving record Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience High School Diploma or GED Machines/Tools/Equipment: Computer, basis office equipment (copier, calculator, fax, etc.), Working Conditions: Primarily a controlled office environment Driving to customer locations
