Bear Mountain Healthcare is looking for an experienced, motivated, and creative Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON/ADNS) for our Worcester, MA location. As the ADON/ADNS, you are the second in command of the nursing department. You will work closely with the DON/DNS to improve the quality of patient care and services provided by your team. In their absence, you will oversee the entire team ensuring quality customer service and compliance with all federal, state, and local rules and regulations, as well as the policies and procedures set by your employer.

Bear Mountain at Worcester is a specialized skilled nursing facility providing neurorehabilitation for traumatic and acquired brain injuries, ventilator weaning and management and care of medically complex patients. Staffed with experienced professionals committed to excellence, we provide a welcoming environment with a patient centered approach to care, healing, recovery, and comfort.

Our comprehensive continuum of healthcare services include Post-Acute Care, Short-Term Rehabilitation, Long-Term and Respite Care. Our facility is staffed with healthcare professionals who attend to every patient’s needs.

Hours:

Full Time – 40 hours

Requirements:

Must have a current unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts

Graduate of approved nursing school required. BSN preferred

Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in long term care preferred

Completion of CDC Infection Control online course preferred, must take prior to start date, will pay to take the course

Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Joint Commission guidelines required

Must be computer literate. Knowledge of EMR required

Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, per MA regulations
