Closing Date: 10/05/2025 Position Purpose Assists the Principal in the development and implementation of services to students related to improving and maintaining an educational environment conducive to learning. Also serve as Principal in the absence of the Principal.
Essential Functions
Implements a program of study consistent with NJ Core Curriculum Standards, Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) or Individualized Program Plans (IPPs) and Commission policies. Oversees the daily operation of services and facility according to the assigned schedule. Assists in maintaining a safe environment conducive to learning. Supervises and evaluate staff as assigned. Assists in the coordination of ancillary, related and supplementary services. Schedules students and staff as directed. Enforces the school's Code of Conduct. Assists with the planning and delivery of staff development. Completes, edits and submits reports. Maintains strict confidentiality and rights of all students. Gathers student, staff, etc. data as required and/or directed. Maintains ongoing communication with staff, parents, Case Manager, LEA officials, etc. Attends on-site and off-site meetings, workshops, staffings, etc. as directed and needed. Serves on committees, panels, etc. as assigned. Participates in Curriculum development as needed. Supervises any additional "on site" programs. Assists with staff interviewing, selection, retention, etc. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Reports to location(s) as scheduled and assigned. Performs all other duties and assignments as assigned by the Principal and/or Superintendent. Additional Duties Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal, Superintendent and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent. Note:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiates instruction based upon student learning styles. Knowledge of best practices in administration, program evaluation and staff supervision. Experience working with Special Education and/or "At Risk" students. Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans. Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to organize multiple tasks and conflicting time constraints.
Travel Requirements Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Qualifications
New Jersey Principal Certificate Proof of recent TB test Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
Pay Rate $90,000 - $100,000
Term of Contract 12 Month Position
