Senior Infrastructure/Platform Lead
to support SAIC's Prime Program, Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle. The role requires an?active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
As the Senior Infrastructure/Platform Lead you will play pivotal role that demands a unique blend of technical acumen and project management expertise. You will be responsible for guiding infrastructure and platform initiatives, ensuring seamless operations, and managing cross-functional projects that align with our strategic goals.
Responsibilities to include:
Help guide the design, implementation, and maintenance strategy of infrastructure and platform solutions.
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of IT infrastructure and platform services.
Provide management and oversight regarding end-to-end project lifecycles, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical and project requirements.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the infrastructure and platform teams.
Ensure the developers build and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with infrastructure and platform projects.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
Monitor and report on project progress, performance, and outcomes to senior management.
Maintain documentation for infrastructure processes, platforms, and project management methodologies.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly.
Experience in infrastructure/platform management, with substantial experience in a senior or lead role.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Strong technical background with expertise in infrastructure, cloud services, and platform technologies.
Proven experience in project management, including managing complex IT projects.
Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP, PRINCE2).
Experience supporting the IC.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and cross-functional team environment.
Strong oral and written communications ability on significant technical matters often requiring coordination within a high-tempo environment.
Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc. a PLUS!
