Electrical Engineer/Designer

to join our team and take ownership of both design and estimating functions. Job Summary:

As an Electrical Engineer/Designer, you will play a key role in designing power distribution systems and preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects. This is a dynamic opportunity to impact both the technical and financial success of our projects. Key Responsibilities: Design electrical power distribution systems (service entrance, feeders, panels, lighting, etc.) per NEC and local codes. Develop one-line diagrams, load calculations, and layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, and related tools. Conduct lighting design, voltage drop calculations, and coordination studies. Prepare cost estimates for all design phases, using Accubid or equivalent software. Analyze construction documents to produce accurate material take-offs and labor estimates. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to align design with project budgets. Respond to RFIs and support construction teams during project execution. Ensure compliance with applicable codes and promote sustainable design practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; however, candidates without a degree may be considered if they hold a

Professional Engineer (PE) license or a Designer of Engineering Systems license , which is preferred in lieu of a degree. 3–7 years of experience in electrical design and estimating. Experience in design-build or general contractor environments. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Accubid (or similar estimating tools). Strong knowledge of NEC and construction standards. Proven ability to manage multiple estimates and designs simultaneously. LEED certification and BIM experience are a plus. Benefits: Competitive pay
