Send updated resume, HS diploma, BLS card from AHA and MA diploma/Certification to bibi.ishak@allmedical.com Medical Assistant: New Port Richey Address: New Port Richey, 24653 Bilingual a plus or must: a plus Certified a plus or must: certified a plus Hours: variable - office open 7 a.m. To 7 p.m. Monday through Friday with an hour for lunch - 8 to 10 hour shifts available in family, women's', pediatrics, and behavioral health departments Length of assignment: temp to hire Pay Rate: $24 Attire: scrubs Can we send over resume, you provide a green light to proceed Y/N: Would prefer to interview candidates Position: Medical Assistant Job Description: Taking medical histories Explaining treatment procedures to patients Preparing patients for examinations Assisting the physician during examinations Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens Performing basic laboratory tests Instructing patients about medication and special diets Preparing and administering medications, including by intramuscular, intradermal, and subcutaneous injections-including vaccinations/immunizations, as directed by a physician or other licensed provider (e.g., a nurse practitioner or physician assistant) Transmitting prescription refills as directed Phlebotomy Taking electrocardiograms Wound care and changing dressings Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED BLS (AHA) Basic understanding of medical terminology and documentation. Ability to use basic mathematical skills. Able to preform repetitive tasks. Exceptional Customer Service skills. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
