Full Time Patient Care Tech

What You Will Do (Job Summary)
Assist patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team.
Monday-Friday work schedule
NO call required
NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Required Skills
High School Diploma or GED
Medical Assistant or clinical training preferred
CNA, MA or other certifications preferred.
At least 1 year experience in a patient care role
Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories
Patient Interviewing skills
Ability to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocols
Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures
Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
Current CPR or BLS
