NO C2C. W2 ONLY. MUST SIT ONSITE 3 DAYS A WEEK IN CHARLOTTE, NC. TEKsystems is currently looking for a Splunk Administrator with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and engineering within an enterprise Splunk environment. This role is critical to supporting and maintaining the infrastructure, resolving operational issues, and driving automation and performance improvements across enterprise Splunk deployments. The ideal candidate will split their time approximately 60% engineering and 40% troubleshooting/problem-solving, with a strong emphasis on diagnosing and resolving complex issues. Interview assessments will focus heavily on real-world problem-solving scenarios. Key Responsibilities: Lead the installation, provisioning, configuration, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all Splunk applications and hardware. Architect and manage search head and indexer clustering topologies. Support the migration from RHEL 7 to RHEL 8, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance. Develop and maintain automation tools for CI/CD workflows using Terraform, OpenShift, Bitbucket, and other technologies. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to integrate automation tools and optimize deployment processes. Analyze and resolve technical issues related to Splunk and automation tools. Maintain documentation for Splunk architecture, automation processes, and operational procedures. Communicate effectively with technology and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Splunk architecture and administration. Proven experience with search head and indexer clustering. Strong Linux/Windows system administration skills, including shell scripting. Familiarity with Java, Python, and/or Windows scripting. Expertise in regular expressions and log parsing. Excellent debugging and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional teams toward resolution. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $70.24 - $73.68/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
