Then come and join our global team as a Software Engineering Co-op. This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience. As a Software Engineering Co-op, you will be responsible for: May be involved in all aspects of embedded systems development, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation of the motion control and detector subsystems for molecular imaging cameras. Will be expected to write and test embedded software, execute written test procedures, document results, and to recognize/isolate system anomalies. Tasks include writing code (C/C++) for embedded systems, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation of results. Coop will work with firmware and electrical engineers for the motion control and detector subsystems, and assist with development and test. Provide support for system host emulator, as well as assist in the loading of software in the lab. Coop will also help address issues arising from the Defect Handling Board, and may be asked to help out with certain administrative tasks. This position may suit you best if you are familiar with the areas and concepts below, and would like to develop your skills within Healthineers: Programming languages C/C++/Python Agile development processes Hands-on work with electronic circuitry, cabling, etc. Duration: Typically includes one term off from class plus summer, or a longer-term co-op assignment that can include rotations in school and at work, with some flexibility in scheduling specifics. Flexibility to start based on your availability in conjunction with your academic calendar. Required skills and education to have for the success of this role: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, majoring in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred) Registered and eligible to participate in a co-op through your university The pay range for this position is $24-$40 hourly; however, base pay offered may vary depending on education, skills, and experience.
