Job Summary

We are seeking anexperienced

Avionics Technician

with advanced skills inboth installation and troubleshooting of aircraft systems to join our Modifications Team. This key rolesupports aircraft modification, repair, and system integration at our DallasLove Field facility. You will work on high-end corporate aircraft with precision,autonomy, and professionalism in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Essential Dutiesand Responsibilities include the following:

Install, modify, and test avionics and electrical systems in accordance with engineering specifications and blueprints. Fabricate, route, terminate, and ring out wire harnesses and assemblies. Troubleshoot complex avionics malfunctions and perform comprehensive functional tests. Perform continuity checks, system diagnostics, and equipment calibrations. Lead or assist with engineering changes, repairs, and certification processes. Maintain accurate records, logs, and inspection documentation compliant with FAA regulations. Adhere to safety protocols, tool control, FOD prevention, and housekeeping standards. Train, mentor, and support less experienced technicians, fostering a team-oriented mindset. Participate in aircraft ground tests and flight testing as required. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on modification and maintenance projects. Proactively take ownership of tasks, consistently delivering high-impact results with minimal supervision. Qualifications

Education &Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required. 5+ years of corporate or business aviation avionics experience. Proven experience with harness installation is required. Demonstrated expertise in both troubleshooting and system installations. Proficient in interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Experience with STC (Supplemental Type Certificates) Installations. Experience with multiple avionics systems including Proline 4, Proline 21, Fusion, Honeywell Primus ELITE, EPIC, 1000/2000/4000 series, etc. Familiarity with modifications involving inflight connectivity systems such as Gogo, KA & KU Band, and Starlink. Experience with Cabin Management Systems such as Honeywell Ovation, Collins Venue, Airshow, and Lufthansa. Experience working on OEM aircraft such as Bombardier, Gulfstream, and Cessna. Skills &Competencies:

Knowledge of aircraft systems beyond avionics (hydraulics, flight controls, environmental control systems, etc.). APU and engine run qualifications are a plus. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude. Proven ability to self-inspect work and maintain documentation accuracy. Experience working collaboratively with engineering teams on deviations and modifications. Certifications,Licenses, & Badging

PREFFERED : Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant License Advanced Avionics certification a plus Ability to attain Love Field Badge Valid Driver's License Work Environment& Physical Requirements

While performing theduties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to various weatherconditions. The employee may be exposed to loud noise levels in and aroundtheir work environment. The physical demands regularly required are to sit forextended periods of time, squat, crawl, climb along with the ability to liftand/or move up to 50 pounds. Daily interaction with Clients where tact andconsideration are mandatory while maintaining a team effort in customerservice. Business Jet is an IS-BAO Stage III Certified Operator with FAAApproved SMS/ASAP Programs.
