Intake Coordinator
What You Must Have:
Degree in health care or related field preferred At least three (3) to five (5) years of experience in health care, preferably in palliative care operations Admissions/Intake and customer service experience Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and current auto liability Insurance Knowledge of corporate business management, governmental regulations, standards, and private payer practices Experience with EMR software Full Time Employee Benefits

Coordinates referral information, receives required information from referral sources, enters information into EMR, and collaborates with clinical team in a timely manner. Interacts with other staff to ensure all patients advance through the registration process and are scheduled to be seen in a timely manner. Verifies insurance benefits and pre-authorization as required by specific insurance plans. Develops and maintains effective working relationships with Physicians, Case Managers, Managed Care Organizations, and other pertinent payer/referral sources Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of InHome Connect contractual relationships and ensures that patients are admitted according to contract provisions Performance of other duties as required Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws as applicable referral/intake regulatory requirements
