We are currently seeking a Feature Owner to own the ADAS/AD functions of the ADAS team for highway and urban driving features. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong understanding of L2 and L3 highway and urban driving features, and a track record of successfully bringing new and innovative ADAS software features into production. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection. This role is located on-site at Headquarters in Newark, CA. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Conceptualize, prototype, and launch cutting-edge ADAS/AD features including L3 Highway Pilot, Adaptive Cruise Control, Highway Assist, Automatic Lane Change, and Urban Driving Be responsible for the timely delivery of fully validated, high-quality customer features Create and manage feature roadmaps for multiple vehicle program lines and get buy-ins from stakeholders such as marketing, homologation and other teams Be voice of customer and represent features in all communications with stakeholders Develop feature definitions, use cases, functional requirements, and target performance KPIs Work closely with Functional Safety team to facilitate HARA and Safety Goal development Drive feature specifications using creative ideas and lead usability studies with UX/UI design team to bring each feature to the next level providing a best-in-class premium experience Work closely with Tier 1 suppliers and internal teams to implement innovative solutions Lead competitive benchmarking to stay up to date with latest market trends and technologies Work cross functionally to ensure good communication to achieve a seamless and robust feature development and delivery REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or other related fields Bachelors degree with 8 years of work experience, or Masters degree with 5 years of work experience, preferably in the automotive field Proven track record of bringing automotive ADAS/AD Highway and Urban features into production Expertise in use case and requirements development for ADAS/AD features Experience with automotive supplier interaction, specification development, project/release management, and change management Strong understanding of regulations (ECE R79, R157) and standards for ADAS features (ISO 26262, ASPICE, SOTIF, ISO standards) Expertise in Euro NCAP testing and scoring methodologies to establish precise point targets Proficiency with requirements management tools (JAMA, DOORS, etc.) Proficiency with agile development tools such as JIRA Excellent communication skills and ability to present results to a non-expert audience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience with ADAS/AD customer functions at a Tier 1 or OEM Experience with feature-level project management, and ADAS software development process Experience with component and system integration, testing and verification on system and vehicle levels Salary Range : The compensation range for this position is specified for the listed locations and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay, considering job-related knowledge, skillset, experience, education and training, certifications, and other factors.
