Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Safety and Health Manager to support our satellite production facilities in Midland/Odessa, Texas. This position will focus on occupational safety and health programs, including regulatory compliance and injury prevention. Key Responsibilities Review and interpret existing and proposed EHS regulations to determine applicability and impact on operations; assist with implementation of EHS programs to ensure compliance. Partner with site leadership to continuously improve the culture, awareness, and accountability in support of EHS programs. Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs to ensure compliance, injury prevention, and risk mitigation. Conduct audits, industrial hygiene (IH) sampling, ergonomic assessments, and safety inspections. Create and update Job Hazard Analyses. Participate in tooling design and project reviews; provide regulatory requirements and recommendations for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Assist in accident/incident investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions. Prepare and deliver EHS training, including instructor-led sessions. Participate in regulatory agency and external customer inspections; follow up on findings. Interface with employee-based safety committees, senior management, and other functional support groups to address safety concerns. Implement EHS management systems, sector-level programs, and associated documentation to proactively eliminate or reduce workplace hazards. Support site environmental compliance and sustainability programs as needed.
Qualifications Education
Bachelors Degree and 5 years of occupational health and safety or related experience Masters Degree and 3 years of related experience
Experience
A minimum of 5 years (with Bachelors) or 3 years (with Masters) in occupational health and safety or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in environmental health or occupational safety Previous experience in DoD, Military, or Aerospace facilities Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
