SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

AMS products, training, and services cover a wide range including measurement of dynamic performance of I&C sensors, shutdown rod control system testing, digital I&C equipment qualification, wireless technology implementation, cable testing and troubleshooting, aging management of critical plant equipment, online calibration monitoring of process sensors, computer-aided testing, and development of specialized data acquisition equipment and data analysis systems in support of reactor operation and maintenance.

SALARY RANGE:
$100,000 - $130,000 per year plus full package of benefits
JOB OVERVIEW:
AMS provides products and services to measure instrumentation and control system performance in nuclear power plants worldwide. The Senior Electrical Engineer will support work both in the laboratory and in the field. They will develop test plans, perform testing and troubleshooting, analyze results, and prepare technical documentation according to the AMS's Quality Assurance (QA) program.
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Five years of years of directly related experience in the field of electrical engineering, electronics engineering, software engineering, and/or I&C system engineering RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and develop new equipment and technology for testing of nuclear power plant electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanic systems Perform research and development to produce new equipment and technology Travel 6 to 12 times per year for an average 4-day duration per trip to perform field service testing at national and international nuclear power plants Perform data analysis and write technical reports
