Production Materials Planning Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain production and material plans in line with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and production teams to ensure material availability and production readiness.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory analysis to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
Generate short- and long-term production schedules, ensuring alignment with capacity and resource availability.
Analyze production data, lead times, and material usage trends to optimize planning accuracy.
Maintain accurate planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, reorder points) in ERP/MRP systems.
Identify and escalate potential supply chain risks or constraints proactively.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to material planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to align inbound/outbound material flows with production needs.
Prepare reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders to track KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), forecast accuracy, and inventory turnover.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in production planning, material planning, or supply chain roles (or entry-level if applicable). Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.). Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite, etc.). Knowledge of inventory management principles and production scheduling. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
