Join our team as an Information Security Associate Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's network security. This position offers an opportunity to provide technical expertise, support deployment and upgrades of security products, and guide IT staff in enhancing our information security posture. Responsibilities
Support the Senior Information Security Manager in developing a robust security strategy across network infrastructure and user services. Formulate and strategize annual plans for Network Security architecture and tools. Provide day-to-day technical support for security operations and business continuity programs related to network security systems. Effectively troubleshoot security systems, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and proxies. Assist in managing complex projects and ongoing support of network security operations. Conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats. Design and implement security-focused tools and services, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Manage vulnerability and patching solutions for network security. Support integration and automation of network security tools. Help define security requirements and ensure compliance with established standards. Participate in security compliance initiatives such as PCI DSS and ISO 27001. Engage in incident response activities when network-level breaches are suspected. Perform other related duties to bolster the overall information security function. Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive compensation range: $89,000 - $149,000. Salary determined by experience, education, and specific skills. Performance-based bonus target of 10% of annual salary. Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or relevant work experience. Experience: 10+ years in designing and implementing network security solutions. Proven ability to work collaboratively across various business units. Extensive technical expertise with firewalls, DNS Security, IDS/IPS platforms, VPNs, NAC, and SIEM. Nice to Have: Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Python, Ruby, PowerShell, etc.). Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac) and their security implications. Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. Strong self-motivation and goal-directed work ethic. Certifications: Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CEH, GIAC, CompTIA Security+, and TOGAF. Our company values diversity and inclusion.
