Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly of power supplies, PC boards, cable harnesses, modules, and related subassemblies. Solder and de-solder through-hole and SMT components using soldering iron and hot-air techniques. Read and interpret schematics, drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials to complete assemblies. Select, mount, and install electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, transformers, and ICs on panels and PCAs. Connect and route wires between components, connectors, and terminals following wiring diagrams. Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and microscopes for assembly, inspection, and testing. Perform operations such as crimping, riveting, potting, cleaning, epoxy bonding, and trimming components. Conduct inspections and basic functional tests to ensure assemblies meet production and quality standards. Troubleshoot, rework, and repair defective units as identified during inspection or testing. Maintain accurate production records, follow detailed work instructions, and adhere to all safety procedures.
