Description Conduct comprehensive assessments for patients in inpatient and outpatient settings and develop personalized treatment plans Implement diverse physical therapy treatments that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to maximize positive outcomes Provide education for patients and their families regarding therapeutic goals, discharge processes, and exercises to continue at home Ensure meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress following facility protocols and regulatory standards Engage in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborative conferences to support seamless and coordinated patient care Education

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution Certifications

Current state licensure as a

Physical Therapist CPR certification is desirable Specialized certifications (such as in neurological or geriatric therapy) are advantageous but not mandatory Skills

Prior experience in a similar setting is highly preferred Strong capability to manage patients with complex medical histories and mobility impairments Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Proficiency in using digital recordkeeping and clinical documentation software Benefits
