Trillium Construction is now hiring a Senior Industrial Estimator in Spartanburg, SC!

Trillium Construction is currently recruiting for an Industrial Estimator on behalf of a client specializing in industrial contracting, millwright services, rigging, optical alignment, and crane operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced estimator to join a well-established, family-owned company with a reputation for delivering high-quality industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities -Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for industrial contracting projects, including millwright services, rigging, crane operations, and welding/fabrication. -Analyze RFQs, site conditions, and project specifications to develop comprehensive proposals aligned with client expectations. -Conduct site visits to assess project scope, constraints, and potential risks. -Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure pricing and ensure bid completeness. -Develop scope-of-work documents outlining inclusions, exclusions, terms, and risk factors. -Generate manpower-loaded schedules and track estimating progress. -Support contract administration and negotiate prime and subcontract agreements. -Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and industry standards in all estimating activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications -Minimum 5 years of industrial estimating experience in construction, heavy equipment, or related industries. -Hands-on experience with millwright services, rigging, and crane operations. -Strong knowledge of industrial construction practices and mechanical systems. -Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications. -Familiarity with estimating software, quantity takeoffs, and scope development. -OSHA 10-Hour Certification and valid Driver’s License. -Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications -Experience in manufacturing, mechanical, or energy industry projects. -Familiarity with CAD or alignment software. -Additional safety or trade certifications.

Education & Physical Requirements -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). -Ability to travel to project sites. -Capable of working extended hours and in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
