We are currently seeking a
Full-time Substance Use Disorder Peer Recovery Specialist
to join our team in the
Cumberland, Maryland
region.
Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS)
employees support patients in their substance use and detoxification/ recovery process. They also lead recovery groups, build community and relationships.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent Certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) required One year or more of experience working closely with patients and connecting them to resources or an equivalent combination of work and education Experience working in corrections preferred Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including:
