As a crane assembler your main responsibility is to ensure the safe and reliable installation, inspection, and maintenance of overhead cranes and hoist systems. Crane Assembler Responsibilities:
Inspect overhead cranes and hoists to confirm OSHA and ANSI safety standards, as well as manufacturer standards Install new systems, including layout planning, steel erection, and wiring Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components, including motor controls and circuits Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation Evaluate equipment condition and recommend repairs or upgrades Communicate effectively with clients regarding repair schedules and estimated completion times Work safely at heights, perform heavy lifting, and adapt to various work environments Crane Assembler Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in crane or hoist systems, military background considered Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory and troubleshooting 480VAC 3-phase motor control systems Mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills Willingness to travel approximately 25% (preferred) Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts Additional Info:
